This is the best time of year to shop for all seasons.. As the Retail Store's are full of summer and Bathing Suits we have the best of all Seasons.. We like to transition into the next season at the same time but we also continue to keep Winter and Warm clothes on the rack. If you have an upcoming Ski trip planned over the 3 day weekends you can still find a selection of Snow clothes in our store..
Cory's Closet is trying to make some changes to compete with what our Busy Customers need.. It has been 18 years of trial and error when it comes to the best match for Buying appointments..The first 12 or so years we were in Business we bought all the time and you could just stop in.. After hours of waiting and us not being able to always take what you had we decided to buy by appointment so we could be efficient with times and merchandise.. For about 4 years we had you call us on Mondays and Fridays to schedule your appointments.. That became very difficult because people would call all morning and by the time they got thru our time slots were full... A couple years back we started a list.. With us getting about 30 phone calls a day we decided this was the best way to get you in to sell your items the best way we could.. Certain times of the year the list is hard to work from because our stock levels move a little slower.. It seems customers seem to wait and wait and wait.. It is just as frustrating to our loyal sellers as it is to our staff members.. It reminds me of the "Endless To Do " list I have at home.. Certain times of the year the list works awesome.. Those are typically when we are transisitoning into different seasons and Back To School..
We are considering going back to Walk in Hours a few days a week.. I would love feedback from you on what you think about that via email.. Corysclosetkids@yahoo.com
The problem with Walk in Buy hours is the following:
1) You could potentially have a wait time more then you do for our appointment system
2) We could be completly full on what items you have by the time your turn comes up ( would usually only happen with clothes)
3) We Would have to Pay a little less for items so that we can compete with the other store's and turn around and sell it for a little less too.. ( This is so we can sell items faster and also compete with how much more we would be buying)
Here are the benefits~
1) You can unload your items during the week according to your schedule
2) You will see more Baby Equipment in the store and less Wish List requests

Looking forward to some new positive changes this year.. Last year we remodeled the store and it looks Beautiful inside. This year I need to find some positive changes to help our Customers..
